Republic FC Says Goodbye To Emrah Klimenta

Defender Emrah Klimenta of Sacramento Republic FC is moving on from the team and onto LA Galaxy.

Klimenta, 26, leaves the club as their all-time leader in minutes, starts and appearances.

According to LA Galaxy’s website, head coach Sigi Schmid says:

“Emrah has shown very well for himself in Sacramento and he’s deserving of this opportunity in MLS. He will be a valuable and versatile defender in our backline. We are very excited to welcome Emrah into our club.”
