Draymond Green only needed two minutes to get ejected from Tuesday night’s matchup with the Minnesota Timberwolves.
With the score still sitting at 0-0, Minnesota’s Jaden McDaniels and Golden State’s Klay Thompson got tied up over a long rebound. The two went back and forth, from the baseline to center court, and then things started getting physical.
Enter Draymond Green.
As players and coaches tried to separate the Thompsn and McDaniels, Green could be seen running in, applying a headlock to Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert.

Officials reviewed the situation, handing Thomspon and McDaniels double technical fouls. Green was assessed a Flagrant 2 foul. All three were immediately ejected.Ā The Warriors were already without guard Stephen Curry.
This was also Green’s second ejection within the past week. In the Cavs’ 118-110 win last Saturday, the Warriors forward was tossed from the game after he appeared to have pushed Donovan Mitchell from behind.
