Sacramento may not have the amount of professional teams that other cities in the United States have, but what Sacramento has been able to do is pull off major sporting events.

This city has hosted US Track and Field trials, major cycling events, the California International Marathon, March Madness, the US Senior Open in golf and many more.

Now you can add one more to the growing list: The World’s Strongest Man Competition.

The Sacramento Sports Commission has announced a three year deal with The World’s Strongest Man competition beginning this summer. More details to come but Sacramento continues to grow, continues to think outside the box and continues to reach out to all types of sports.

Well done.
