Video: MLB reiterates that the A’s are moving to Sacramento next season

Shortly following a report published on Thursday that stated the MLBPA hasn’t approved the Oakland Athletics’ move to Sacramento, Major League Baseball released a statement that threw water on any notion that the A’s will call anywhere but Sacramento home for the 2025 season:
“It is a certainty that the A’s will play their 2025 season in Sacramento as planned. MLB is continuing to work productively with the MLBPA on the details of the transition.”
