Las Vegas Raiders sign free agent WR Jalen Guyton

May 6, 2024, 11:40 AM | Updated: 11:46 am

The Las Vegas Raiders signed free agent wide receiver Jalen Guyton on Monday. Terms were not disclosed.

Guyton, 26, is the second wideout signed by the Raiders since last week’s draft, joining Michael Gallup, who figures to start alongside Davante Adams and Jakobi Meyers.

The wide receiver follows the new Raiders general manager, Tom Telesco, who is also coming to Las Vegas from the Los Angeles Chargers.

More on Jalen Guyton

Guyton has 71 catches for 1,112 yards and seven touchdowns in 46 career games (14 starts) with the Chargers, who first signed him to their practice squad in October 2019. Guyton was undrafted out of North Texas.

The 6’1, 212-point receiver thrived as a focal point of Los Angeles’ offense during the 2020 and 2021 seasons, pulling in at least 28 receptions, 448 receiving yards, and three touchdowns in each season.

Now that Guyton is heading to Las Vegas, he will join a wide receiver room that includes Davante Adams, Jakobi Meyers, Tre Tucker, and the recently signed Gallup, with Aidan O’Connell and Gardner Minshew expected to battle it out for the QB1 spot.
