Following a blowout loss against Washington, UC Davis football has won two straight games — the most recent being a 34-12 victory over Weber State on Saturday.

No. 7 UC Davis football redshirt freshman Caden Pinnick had himself a solid Saturday night scoring three touchdowns while leading the Aggies to victory over Weber State in the Big Sky opener and his performance has earned him Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week honors.
It’s the second time this season that Pinnick has earned weekly honors, having been named the Stats Perform National Freshman Player of the Week back in Week One.
Pinnick threw for 288 yards and a pair of touchdowns while running one in, adding 48 yards on the ground for over 300 yards of total offense. The Aggie signal caller went 16-for-27 and hit Samuel Gbtau Jr. for an 85-yard touchdown pass late in the game, putting the finishing touches on the UC Davis 34-12 win.
The UC Davis football Aggies can now claim three weekly Big Sky awards so far this season, with Pinnick joining Rex Connors (Week One) and Jacob Psyk (Week Four) having both earned Defensive Player of the Week honors from the conference.
