CD: Looks Like No Jabari Parker

Watch: Why Russell Westbrook Chose Retirement Over Backing Up Darius Acuff Jr. | 23 mins

As Summer League winds down, the restricted free agent market is heating up. Historically not a bastion of activity, the unique cap situation is making things a little bit more interesting.

The Kings haven’t had much success in luring anyone here, with their latest attempt being the Zach Lavine offer sheet, immediately matched by the Bulls.

Much has been said about the Kings’ front office and their lack of moves this offseason, but I’m not so sure Parker would be the right guy. The problem with trying to analyze potential moves like this? We have no idea what the money looks like. If the Bulls get Parker for something like 3 years, 30 million dollars- maybe its a smart move. But if it were to be in the 40-60 million dollar range (doubtful but who knows), I have no problem in passing.
