UPDATE: Sacramento Republic FC has released a statement on the team’s Facebook Page following the MLS announcement.

Major League Soccer has announced the addition of Cincinnati into the league.

They took to Twitter to announce the news, using the hashtag .

The MLS Facebook page also went live on Tuesday with the announcement.
