The Sacramento Kings have added a veteran guard to its roster.

Matthew Dellavedova has signed with the Sacramento Kings, the team announced on social media Friday. The terms of the contract have not yet been released.

Delly worked out for team officials in early July. Dellavedova spent last season playing with Melbourne United in Australia. In eight NBA seasons, the 6’3 guard has averaged 5.5 points and just under 4 assists. He won a championship with the Cleveland Cavaliers.

The signing reunites the guard with former Cavalier coach Mike Brown. Dellavedova played for Coach Brown for one season in Cleveland.

The signing of Matthew Dellavedova is the latest move in a busy offseason for the Sacramento Kings. After drafting Keegan Murray with the number four pick in the 2022 NBA Draft, the team kicked off free agency by signing Malik Monk. The Kings then traded Maurice Harkless and Justin Holiday and a protected draft pick to the Atlanta Hawks for Kevin Huerter.
