The San Francisco Giants and Major League Baseball released their schedule for the 2023 regular season on Tuesday afternoon, marking the first season that all 30 teams will play each other at least once.

The 2023 schedule will be the first to feature the new balanced schedule format that was added to the new collective bargaining agreement in March. The Giants will play six less games against their divisional opponents, which will now give them a total of 13 games against each of the other four teams in their division, two series on the road and two at home.

They will continue to face the other 10 National League teams two times apiece, playing one series at home and one on the road. The Giants will now play 46 Interleague games, facing every team in the American League for a three-game series, alternating between ballparks annually. This year, the Giants will host the following American League opponents: Baltimore, Boston, Cleveland, Kansas City, Oakland, Seattle, Tampa Bay and Texas. The Giants will also visit the A’s for two regular season games with the territorial rivalry home-and-home series still intact.

Per the San Francisco Giants – August 24, 2022

The San Francisco Giants will travel to Yankee Stadium on March 30th to face the New York Yankees on Opening Day. After facing off at Oracle Park in 2019, the Giants will travel to the Bronx for the first time since the 2016 season.
