Tackle football is no more at the NFL’s Pro Bowl.

Flag football is replacing tackle football when the Pro Bowl celebrates the best players of the NFL. The league announced on Monday the event will be renamed “The Pro Bowl Games” and feature a “week-long celebration of player skills.”

The change takes place in 2023 in Las Vegas, the home of the Las Vegas Raiders.

The NFL also announced Peyton Manning and his Omaha Productions will help create programming throughout the week. Specific skills competitions have not yet been named.

“We’ve received invaluable feedback from players, teams and fans about reimagining the Pro Bowl, and as a result, we’re thrilled to use The Pro Bowl Games as a platform to spotlight Flag football as an integral part of the sport’s future while also introducing fun, new forms of competition and entertainment that will bring our players, their families and fans closer than ever before,” Peter O’Reilly, NFL Executive Vice President, Club Business and League Events, said in a press release.
