The Las Vegas Raiders return from their Bye Week with a favorable matchup against the 1-3-1 Houston Texans.

Over the next eight weeks, the Raiders face off against four teams with winning records and four without for a collective record of 20-26-1.

“This is a team that I would say our team doesn’t know very well,” Raider coach Josh McDaniels said. The Texans and Raiders have only faced off against each other 11 times in the regular season since Houston joined the league in 2002.

“And in looking at them, Lovie [Smith] does such a great job of – they’re very consistent from one year to the next,” McDaniels said. “I’ve coached against him and his teams many times. They have a very straightforward style. They’re going to play no nonsense football, they’re tough, they’re physical, they take care of the ball on offense, they create turnovers on defense. They’re very good in the kicking game, one of the best teams that we’ll play in terms of the challenge in the special teams area.”

What time does the Week 7 game start?

Kickoff is set for 1:05 p.m. PST on Sunday, Oct. 23, at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.

Where can I watch or listen?

The game will air live on CBS. Greg Gumbel (play-by-play) and Adam Archuleta (color analyst) will be on the call. To listen, all Raiders games are broadcast live on Sactown Sports 1140 in the Greater Sacramento Region.
