Derek Carr wasn’t going to let his Raiders lose three games in a row.

On the third play of overtime, Carr found a wide-open Davante Adams, hitting him in stride, for a 35-yard game-winning touchdown. Sunday’s win against the Broncos broke a three-game losing streak for Las Vegas.

Before overtime though, it was again a tale of two halves for Adams. The star receiver finished the game with two touchdowns and 141 yards, but a majority of those yards came in the first half. Adams was held to one catch for 12 yards in the second half before securing the win for his team in overtime.

According to the team, Adams now leads the league with 10 touchdowns. After the game, he said big-time playmaking is “contagious.”

“We had plenty of opportunities throughout the game and we didn’t hit the big home run every time,” Adams said. “So when I see that, it fires me up.”

The Raiders’ defense stepped up, too, helping contain and prevent the Broncos from securing the win before overtime. Defensive end Maxx Crosby led the team with six total tackles, two sacks, one forced fumble and a blocked field goal.

With the win, the Raiders sweep the series against Broncos this year.

Across The AFC West

Sunday was all AFC West matchups. Following the Broncos and Raiders, the Kansas City Chiefs took on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night football. Tight end Travis Kelce recorded another three-touchdown day, leading the Chiefs to a 30-27 win over their division rivals. Kansas City now holds a three-game lead in their division.

Who’s Next For The Raiders?

The Black and Silver head to Seattle to take on the NFC West-leading Seahawks on Sunday, Nov. 27.
