The Lady Hornets were outstanding in the 2022-23 season, earning numerous Big Sky Conference honors.

Senior guard Kahlaijah Dean was named the Big Sky Conference’s Most Valuable Player and Newcomer of the Year to go along with all-league first team honors. While junior Isnelle Natabou earned all-conference honors for second-straight season. The duo averaged nearly 37 PPG, 14.7 RPG, and almost six assists per contest as well.

Mark Campbell made history, becoming the first Sac State women’s basketball coach to win Big Sky Coach of the Year honors after leading the Hornets to a school-record 22 victories. Qualifying for the league’s postseason event for the 12th consecutive season, Sac State earned a bye into the quarterfinals for the first time in the history of the program.

Sacramento State will face-off against No. 6-seeded Idaho on Monday (March 6) at 1:30 p.m. PT.
