During Monday’s afternoon show on Sactown Sports 1140, Ramie and Jay Johnson were joined by former Oakland Athletics second baseman and current NBC Sports analyst Shooty Babitt to talk about the A’s relocation to Las Vegas, dive into the new rules that Major League Baseball implemented this season, and more.

Babitt, an Oakland native that attended Berkeley High School, broke through with the Athletics during the 1981 season when he batted .254 with 14 RBI and five stolen bases over 54 appearances.

The 64-year-old went on to become a Major League scout for the Arizona Diamondbacks and New York Mets before joining the NBC Sports staff in 2008.
