The San Francisco 49ers made a statement during a 42-19 win over the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday night.

During Tuesday morning’s edition of The Carmichael Dave Show with Jason Ross, former NFL quarterback Sean Salisbury joined the show to share his thoughts on the potential NFC Championship preview, contemplate if any teams outside of the Eagles are a threat to San Francisco’s Super Bowl hopes, and much more.

Plus: Did the College Football Playoff committee make the right move by holding out the 13-0 Florida State Seminoles?

Topics Discussed

  • Does Sean agree with the four College Football Playoff committee’s decision to include Alabama over Florida State?
  • “I do. Who are you going to take out? This is one of those years where it’s too bad they don’t have eight [teams].”
  • Diving into San Francisco’s win over the Eagles
  • If that was the best version of the San Francisco 49ers, what team can beat them?
  • “In the NFC, nobody is better. That 49ers team, if that’s who we get? Good luck beating them in the NFC or AFC.”
  • Sean says that Sunday’s version of the 49ers is the team that he predicted would make the Super Bowl
  • “I think they’re as dangerous as it gets.”
