The Oakland Athletics are set to open the season against the Seattle Mariners in Japan in 2019.

Susan Slusser broke the news on Twitter.

The San Francisco Chronicle reports that this is the A’s third time in Japan in the past 12 years.

Team manager Bob Melvin said Wednesday “Not only did we have a great time, it’s a life lesson as much as anything, but it significantly helped our team come together in 2012.”

The game will take place at the Tokyo Dome, with the date to be announced.
