Sacramento Republic FC added two new players over the weekend.

The club has signed midfielder Villyan Bijev and defender Justin Schmidt.

Republic FC General Manager Todd Dunivant says:

“Bijev is a natural goal scorer that will add firepower to our attack. He is a player we were really happy to bring back and someone that our fans know very well both from the time he has played with us and with T2.”

Dunivant says of Schmidt:

“Justin was born to compete. He brings a fire to our backline and will be key to organizing our entire group.”
