49ers Nick Bosa, Deebo Samuel named Top 30 NFL players of 2024

It’s rankings galore for the 49ers, now seeing both Nick Bosa and Deebo Samuel crack the Top 30 of the NFL Top 100 list of 2024.

The NFL announced Tuesday that both San Francisco 49er playmakers have ben named to the Top 30 players of the NFL Top 100 of 2024. Both men have been featured on the exclusive list for years now, having becoming households names in the football community. Samuel climbed the rankings from 2023, going from 61st overall to 30th. However, Bosa took a tumble, going from fourth overall in 2023, to 27th overall in 2024.

The NFL unveils their Top 100 from 100-1, with more 49ers expected to be on it. Bosa and Samuel mark the third and fifth Red & Gold members to be named so far, with quarterback Brock Purdy at 28th overall.

Nick Bosa, 26, is coming off a down year statistically. The Florida native racked up 10.5 sacks, 53 combined tackles, 35 QB hits, and two forced fumbles. He also batted down four passes, playing n all 17 regular-season games. The comes after his best career showing in 2022, earning All-Pro honors for the first time.

Deebo Samuel, 28, was the opposite, having a bounce-back 2023 campaign. He finished with 1117 scrimmage yards on 97 touches and 12 total touchdowns in 15 games. After a 2022 slump that saw him miss the most games since 2020, the South Carolina native responded with a more complete year for the 49ers.
