Rajon Rondo isn’t into the idea that the Boston Celtics want to honor Isaiah Thomas with a tribute video.

He doesn’t think the former guard deserves any recognition and asks “What has he done?” to Worcester Telegram & Gazette writer Bill Doyle.

There has been controversy surrounding the tribute video idea since Feb. 11 is when the Celtics are going to retire Paul Pierce’s jersey.

Thomas led the Celtics to the Eastern Conference Finals last season but Rondo is dismissing the fact and not impressed with the teams choice to want to honor him.

Thomas spent three seasons with the Celtics, earning All-Star appearances in his last two years.

Despite dealing with the death of his sister last season, he played a big role in the playoffs. The was traded in exchange for Kyrie Irving during offseason.

The Celtics offered to provide Thomas with a video tribute but he turned down the offer since he didn’t want it to conflict with Paul Pierce’s jersey retirement game.
