More on the 2024 MLB Playoffs

ALDS: (2) Cleveland Guardians vs. (6) Detroit Tigers

CLE leads series 1-0

The Guardians coasted to a 7-0 win on Saturday, but Detroit will send out Cy Young Award favorite Tarik Skubal (18-4, 2.39 ERA) against former Tigers left-hander Matt Boyd today as they look to tie the best-of-five series at one apiece.

First pitch is set for 1:08 PM PDT on TBS.

ALDS: (1) New York Yankees vs. (5) Kansas City Royals

NYY leads series 1-0

New York and Kansas City played a nail-biter on Saturday at Yankee Stadium, where the Yankees prevailed late thanks to a go-ahead base hit in the bottom of the seventh inning.

The game featured five lead changes–the most in a single game in MLB postseason history.

Game 2 will take place this afternoon as southpaws Carlos Rodon and Cole Ragans face off at 4:38 PM PDT on TBS.

NLDS: (2) Philadelphia Phillies vs. (6) New York Mets

Series tied 1-1

In what has been the series of the MLB Playoffs thus far, Philadelphia and New York will head to the Big Apple with things knotted up at 1-1.

Nick Castellanos’ walk-off hit on Sunday helped the Phillies complete a comeback win that kept the Mets from taking a commanding 2-0 series lead back to Citi Field.

Sean Manaea and Aaron Nola will face off in Game 3 on Tuesday with first pitch coming at 2:08 PM PDT on FS1.

NLDS: (1) Los Angeles Dodgers vs. (4) San Diego Padres

Series tied 1-1

Game 2 between these National League West rivals got chippy on Sunday night, with some fans even getting involved after Padres outfielder Jurickson Profar robbed a Mookie Betts home run during the first inning.

After fans began tossing objects at Profar and San Diego’s All-Star right fielder Fernando Tatis Jr., the latter caused some in Dodger blue to make an early exit after drilling his second homer of the night during a three-run ninth inning that pushed the Padres’ lead to 10-1.
