There are multiple reports surrounding alleged tension involving Jimmy Garoppolo, Tom Brady and the New England Patriots, and the supposed tension may have become a little more awkward.
With several confusing and conflicting reports being published daily, it it hard to believe what is true. A recent report follows an incident that took place when Garoppolo went to visit to the Patriots’ TB12 facility for treatment on his shoulder injury.
According to CBS Sports, Garoppolo was reportedly locked out and did not get admitted to TB12:
But after Garoppolo was knocked out of his second start because of a shoulder injury, he set up a visit at TB12. As he later told Patriots staffers, when he arrived, the door was locked. He knocked; nobody was there. He called TB12 trainers but nobody answered. He couldn’t believe it, Garoppolo told the staffers, and that night ended up visiting team trainers instead. Guerrero vehemently denies ever refusing to see any player, and Garoppolo was eventually treated at TB12 — but it was two weeks after he showed up for his original appointment, and only after a high-ranking Patriots staffer called TB12 to inquire why Garoppolo hadn’t been admitted.
Neither quarterback has publicly displayed any public tension regarding the other. In passed interview Brady even admitted he was ‘really happy‘ for Garoppolo when asked for his opinion on his 5-0 streak with the San Francisco 49ers.
If reports happen to be proven true, this may be the first step to uncovering what tension may be in disguise between the two quarterbacks.
