UC Davis Football set to host Pro Day & Open Spring Practice on April 4

UC Davis football is set to host its Pro Day and begin Spring Practices starting April 4th! Here's all of the information you need to join the Aggies!

On Monday, March 31 UC Davis football will host its Pro Day kicking off a month of spring practice that will see the Aggies take part in 15 practices that get going on April 4, with the Aggie Spring Game capping everything off on April 26.

UC Davis will welcome both Hawai’i and Sacramento State for its pro day that will feature a collection of Aggies showcasing their talents for the next level. Pro Day gets going at 10 a.m. on Mar. 31.

Fans are welcome to come watch the stadium portion of the Aggie Pro Day.

“We’re excited to be back out on the field finding joy in the daily process,” said 2024 Eddie Robinson Award finalist head coach Tim Plough. “Spring is my favorite time because we can focus on development and building our team for 2025.

“We want all Alumni to feel welcome to come out and be a part of the experience with us. Come to meetings, come to practice, and feel that Aggie Pride with us. Our goal is also to have a great turn out on April 25th for our Alumni Golf Tourney as well and then we’d like all alumni to stay for the next day, April 26th, to be part of our spring game.

“We want the Aggie Spring Game to be a yearly event for our alumni and Davis community to celebrate Aggie Football. Let’s fill Shredville up with a great crowd and make it a day where we will all “Find Joy” together.”

The Aggies will host 15 spring practices starting on April 4, all practices are open to fans and media and a schedule with dates and times can be found below. On April 12 and 19 the Aggies will have a scrimmage as they build up to the eventual spring game on April 26.

Winning a program record 11 games in 2024 and reaching the NCAA FCS Playoff Quarterfinals the Aggies can boast key returners in Rex Connors (DB); Samuel Gbatu, Jr. (WR); Winston Williams (TE); Porter Connors (LB); Hunter Ridley (K); Zaire Collier (C); Jace Rodriguez (G); David Main (G); Ernesto Nava (T) and Eli Simonson (T).

Along with a strong core of returners the Aggies have also brought in the No. 7 ranked Football Championship Series transfer class in the nation, according to FCS Football Central and when considering high school recruits along with transfers the Aggies can claim the No. 9 class in the nation according to HERO Sports.

SEASON TICKET DEPOSITS: Season ticket deposits are now being taken and fans can lock in their spot for the 2025 season for only $50. The Aggies open UC Davis Health Stadium on Sept. 20 when Southern Utah makes the trip to Davis.
