UC Davis Aggies prep for Spring Game set for April 26th

UC Davis football has begun gearing up for its Spring Game, set for 4 p.m. kickoff on April 26 at UC Davis Health Stadium.

With seven practices in the bank, UC Davis football has begun gearing up for its Spring Game, a showcase for the entire Davis community to come out and enjoy together, set for 4 p.m. kickoff on April 26 at UC Davis Health Stadium.

The spring game is free of charge for all fans, and there will be plenty of opportunities for fans to win Aggie gear along with other great events. Postgame, the team will host a Youth Combine and fans will be welcomed onto the field for a chance to get autographs of their favorite Aggies.

Over the last seven practices the Aggies have been working hard, teaching and working on individual skills while on Bob Biggs Practice Field, before transitioning to UC Davis Health Stadium for team work each day.

On Saturday, April 12, the Aggies had their first scrimmage of the spring. It was a chance for the team to mimic a real game atmosphere while also getting officials on the field to call the game like it will in the fall.

“A portion of the way through spring ball, I’m really pleased with, the effort and energy our team has right now,” said head coach Tim Plough. “I think, our strength coach, Coach [Jeff] Bourque, deserves a lot of credit for what he does in the off season with our guys.

“We’re down numbers a little bit because we graduated so many and we do have some incoming guys will join us in June, but for now the guys that are out here, are getting better every day.”

It was also an opportunity to showcase to the fans who came out the hard work the Aggies have been putting in during the spring as they get closer to Spring Game ready.

Fans are encouraged and welcome to swing by and check the Aggies out anytime over the next month before coming out to the UC Davis football Spring Game.

Kids Run (with team) – 3:30 p.m.

Kickoff (Fan Contests Begin) – 4 p.m.

Youth Combine & On-field Autographs – Postgame

SEASON TICKET DEPOSITS: Season ticket deposits are now being taken and fans can lock in their spot for the 2025 season for only $50. The Aggies open UC Davis Health Stadium on Sept. 20 when Southern Utah makes the trip to Davis.

GOLF CLASSIC REGISTRATION OPEN: Fans who want to spend the day on the links with the Aggie coaches and players can register today and until to April 18 for the annual Legacy of Aggie Football Golf Classic set to tee off on April 25. The classic will be held at the Wildhorse Golf Club and there are plenty of opportunities to sponsor UC Davis football and win a collection of prizes.

April 18 (Practice Nine) – 8:45-10:15 a.m.

April 19 (Practice 10; Scrimmage) – 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m.

April 21 (Practice 11) – 8:45-10:15 a.m.

April 22 (Practice 12) – 8:45-10:35 a.m.

April 23 (Practice 13) – 8:45-10:35 a.m.

April 24 (Practice 14) – 8:45-10:15 a.m.

April 26 (Practice 15; Spring Game) – 4:00 p.m.
