A man from North Carolina is suing Fletcher Cox for allegedly ruining his marriage.

CBS News reports that Cox, 26, is being sued for “for alienation of affection” in Civil Court.

The Philadelphia Eagles defensive tackle is being sued by Joshua Jeffords, who says he found out about Cox’s relationship with his wife via text messages in September. He reportedly saw text exchanges that included explicit photos and discussions of having children together.

Jeffords says his wife met the NFL player during a work-related trip to Pennsylvania back in April.

Jeffords says he needed mental health treatment for “substantial emotional distress” following these events, and is looking to get at least $50,000 in damages.
