After the brawl within Oakland Raiders receiver Michael Crabtree and Denver Broncos cornerback Aqib Talib, the two players were ejected from the field on Sunday, November 26. The ejection was then followed by the two players receiving a two game suspension for fighting on the sidelines and on the field.

According to Bleacher Report, Crabtree and Talib are suspended for two games because they violated unnecessary roughness rules and showed unsportsmanlike conduct during the game.

Michael Signora, NFL VP of communications, posted a full explanation of their punishment on Twitter late Sunday evening:

Crabtree and Talib are currently appealing the suspension. If unable to appeal, Crabtree will not be allowed to play until December 11. This would mean that he will not be in the Raiders vs. the New York Giants game and will be missing the game against the Kansas City Chiefs as well.

Talib would be missing the Broncos game vs. the Miami Dolphins and will be back on the active roster after the game against the New York Jets.

Oakland Raiders coach Jack Del Rio had some comments for ESPN reporter Paul Gutierrez about the two players suspension.

Del Rio was referring back to the November 5th game between the Cincinnati Bengals and Jacksonville Jaguars, when a fight broke out between Bengals wide receiver A.J. Green and Jaguars defensive back Jalen Ramsey. Neither of the players were giving a suspension and Green appeared throw punches at Ramsey while also choking him.
