Per The Telegraph‘s Sean Gibson, the airport was renamed the Cristiano Ronaldo International Airport to honor the island’s most famous citizen.

Spanish sculptor Jose Antonio Navarro Arteaga recently decided to create a bust that looked a lot closer to the subject matter.

Tasked with creating a bust of Ronaldo for Real Madrid’s museum, according to Gerard Couzens of the Mirror, Arteaga ensured his sculpture actually resembled the world-class football superstar.

Some even believe that the bust makes Ronaldo “look more handsome than he is,” per Couzens.
