On Tuesday, November 21, Sacramento Kings players and coaches set out to assist Sacramento Police Chief Daniel Hahn and a few other police officers in distributing and delivering Thanksgiving meals to families around the Sacramento area.

Players that volunteered in distributing meals were power forward Skal Labissiere and point guard Garrett Temple, along with assistant coach Bryan Gates.

They joined nonprofits around the SacTown area to provide around 100 coupons, groceries and meal kits to families. The Sacramento Bee reported that families from around Sacramento were able to pick up meal kits at St. Andrew AME Church from the Kings and police officers as well.
