Brock Purdy continues to earn the respect of his peers around the league.

The San Francisco 49ers quarterback checked in at 85th on the NFL’s annual Top 100 Players list for the 2026 season, a ranking determined solely by current NFL players.

Purdy was one of the first quarterbacks revealed as this year’s countdown got underway, marking another appearance on the prestigious player-voted list.

Although injuries limited Purdy to just nine games during the 2025 campaign, he remained one of the league’s most efficient passers when healthy.

His placement at No. 85 reflects the respect he has earned across the NFL despite missing nearly half the season and entering 2026 looking to lead the 49ers back into playoff contention.

2025 stats: 9 games | 69.4 pct | 2,167 pass yds | 7.6 ypa | 20 pass TDs | 10 INTs | 147 rush yards | 3 rush TDs

Brock Purdy would likely rank far higher had he not missed eight games last season due to a toe injury.

There was little opponents could do to stop him once he was healthy again in Week 11, evidenced by San Francisco scoring 37 or more points in four of its seven regular-season games following his return.

He has established himself as one of the league’s most entertaining signal-callers, equipped with an uncanny knack for buying time to make big last-second plays. At his best — which he often is — Brock Purdy gives the 49ers a Super Bowl ceiling.
