Domantas Sabonis’ NBA 2K27 rating places him just ahead of former teammate

Sacramento Kings star Domantas Sabonis has landed inside the top 60 players in NBA 2K27, coming in at No. 55 overall with an 85 rating.

The ranking places Sabonis among the NBA’s most recognizable stars, though his spot could spark debate given his production over the past several seasons.

When healthy, the three-time All-Star and two-time All-NBA selection has established himself as one of the league’s most productive big men, particularly as a rebounder and playmaker.

Over the past four seasons, Domantas Sabonis has averaged 19.0 points, 13.1 rebounds, and 7.0 assists per game while shooting just under 60 percent from the field and 38 percent from three-point range over 250 games. His combination of scoring efficiency, rebounding, and passing has made him the Kings’ offensive hub.

Sabonis’ NBA 2K27 ranking is particularly interesting given his unique skill set. At 6-foot-10, he has developed into one of the best passing centers in basketball while consistently ranking among the league leaders in rebounding.

His ability to operate as a hub from the elbows and facilitate Sacramento’s offense separates him from many traditional centers.

The Kings are also entering a pivotal season with Sabonis at the center of their plans. After dealing with a knee injury that ended his 2025-26 season, Sabonis will look to return to form and help Sacramento bounce back. The Kings also selected point guard Darius Acuff Jr. with the seventh overall pick in June’s NBA Draft, potentially giving Sabonis another dynamic pick-and-roll partner.

For now, Domantas Sabonis’ 85 overall rating and No. 55 ranking place him firmly among NBA 2K27’s top players, even if his real-life production could lead some to argue he deserves an even higher spot.

NBA 2K27 is scheduled to release on September 4th.
