Sacramento Kings announce 2026-27 theme nights

The Sacramento Kings are bringing some of the biggest names in kids’ entertainment to Golden 1 Center during the 2026-27 season.

The team announced its lineup of family-focused theme nights Tuesday, featuring appearances from Snoopy, SpongeBob, Elmo and Hello Kitty, along with special giveaways and experiences for fans throughout the season.

Here’s a look at this season’s theme nights at Golden 1 Center.

Sacramento Kings 2026-27 Theme Nights

The Sacramento Kings today announced a lineup of family- and kid-focused theme nights for select home games during the 2026-27 NBA season at Golden 1 Center.

Featuring beloved characters, special in-arena entertainment and memorable experiences for fans of all ages, the celebrations will add even more excitement to Kings basketball throughout the season.

“Kings games are about creating moments that families can experience and remember together,” said Sacramento Kings President of Business Operations John Rinehart.

“These theme nights bring some of the most recognizable and beloved characters to Golden 1 Center alongside our own fan favorite, Slamson. We’re excited to give kids and families even more reasons to come together, cheer on the Kings and make lasting memories.”

The 2026-27 Sacramento Kings family theme night lineup includes:

Peanuts Night — Sunday, December 13 at 6 p.m. vs. New Orleans Pelicans

Returning for a second season, Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the Peanuts gang join the Kings for a special celebration perfect for fans of all generations. The first 10,000 fans will receive a Snoopy x Kings hat, and Snoopy will return to Golden 1 Center with meet-and-greet opportunities for fans throughout the evening.

SpongeBob Night — Sunday, December 27 at 3 p.m. vs. Utah Jazz

Bikini Bottom comes to Golden 1 Center as the Kings celebrate SpongeBob SquarePants. Fans can enjoy a this new theme night inspired by SpongeBob and friends, including a SpongeBob cooler bag giveaway for the first 7,000 fans. SpongeBob will also be in attendance, with opportunities for fans to meet and take photos with the beloved character.

Sesame Street Day — Sunday, January 10 at 6 p.m. vs. Charlotte Hornets

Golden 1 Center will again welcome families this season to a celebration inspired by Sesame Street. Elmo will be in attendance with meet-and-greet opportunities for fans, adding to a playful game-day experience featuring the familiar spirit of the beloved children’s series. Additional giveaway details will be announced at a later date.

Slamson’s Birthday — Sunday, March 14 at 3 p.m. vs. Cleveland Cavaliers

It’s a birthday celebration fit for basketball’s favorite lion. Fans are invited to help celebrate Slamson’s big day during a special Sunday afternoon matchup featuring birthday festivities and plenty of mascot fun.

Hello Kitty Night — Saturday, March 27 at 7 p.m. vs. Toronto Raptors

Fan-favorite Hello Kitty will return to Golden 1 Center for a special Saturday night celebration. Fans will receive a Hello Kitty plush keychain blind box featuring four different versions of Hello Kitty in Kings jerseys, plus an exclusive golden version for one lucky recipient. Hello Kitty will also be in attendance, with special meet-and-greet opportunities throughout the evening.

Throughout the week, fans can unlock limited-time, 24-hour offers featuring 20% off eligible single-game tickets to select theme nights. Fans can follow the Kings on social media and sign up for emails at Kings.com/ThemeNights to learn when each offer becomes available.

Additional theme nights and details, including special entertainment, activations and other fan experiences, will be announced at a later date.
