Kings Herald writer Brenden Nunes joined Deuce & Mo Thursday to talk about the Sacramento Kings facing the New York Knicks on TNT, what makes Brendan nervous about tonight and how he sees the Kings looking heading into the postseason. Plus, does the Knicks’ loss the other night hurt the Kings’ chances tonight?
“The Kings made a point to make sure that coming out of this break, there’s no lull, that we keep our foot on the gas. And they’re in a position right now where we get to sit here and talk about the two seed, which is ridiculous,” Nunes said on the show Thursday. “I think that they’ve done a good job of just staying engaged, staying focused and playing their brand of basketball, which means just being absolutely phenomenal on the offensive end and try and play defense for 20 minutes.”
Topics discussed include:
- What does Brendan expect from Kings-Knicks tonight?
- Could Terrence Davis have a big game?
- Why Brenden wanted the Knicks to come in with a winning streak?
- What makes a national game so exciting for Sacramento?
- How has the use of zone helped the Kings?
- What do the Kings need to do down the stretch of the regular season?
- Where are the holes for Sacramento on defense?
- Why Julius Randle is the X-Factor for the Knicks
