Chris Biderman, reporter for the Sacramento Bee and host of The Candlestick Chronicles podcast, joined Stiles & Watkins Tuesday morning to discuss the recent madness that took place during the NFL Wild Card Weekend.

Biderman shared that he was not overly surprised by any of the outcomes. He had questions about how Joe Flacco would perform for the Cleveland Browns going into their matchup with the Houston Texans.

For the Philadelphia Eagles’ loss in Tampa Bay, he explained that the Eagles have been performing poorly since their loss against the San Francisco 49ers weeks ago.

He did not like the Miami Dolphins’ chances against the Kansas City Chiefs heading into the NFL Wild Card Weekend because of the weather and their recent injuries.

“I wish I had a good answer for you of something that shocked me,” he said. “I’m not trying to pretend like I’m some super smart guy here, but there was nothing really from that first round that stood out as shocking to me, but it was pretty interesting.”

The one admitted surprise for Biderman was the Green Bay Packers dismantling the Dallas Cowboys.
