Chris Biderman of the Sacramento Bee and Candlestick Chronicles Podcast joined Stiles & Watkins to talk about the Sacramento Kings and San Francisco 49ers.

As of Tuesday, Dec. 12, ten teams in the NBA’s Western Conference sit above .500. Given that the Kings have had to weather more injuries, they’re still a top-five team and Biderman believes they’re still improving.

“They do deserve to be considered among the better teams in the Western Conference,” Biderman said. “I think the trade deadline will be fascinating, whether or not the Kings are in the mix to dramatically improve their roster or not is going to be interesting. And if they don’t, is it another team in the Western Conference that’s making that move for O.G. Anunoby or Pascal Siakam?”

Additional topics discussed include:

  • The Kings’ offense looked more like last season’s version against the Brooklyn Nets on Monday
  • Why Keegan Murray’s next jump will help propel the Sacramento Kings to another level
  • Is Brock Purdy still being disrespected despite his many accomplishments?
  • How the 49ers are “all in” on doing whatever it takes to win a championship
