While helping lead the San Francisco 49ers to another win Sunday, Deebo Samuel made several accomplishments that’ll keep him in NFL record books for years to come.
Samuel finished the game with 149 receiving yards and a touchdown, plus a 1-yard touchdown run. With that stat line, he became the second player in NFL history with at least 100 receiving yards, one touchdown reception and one rushing touchdown in consecutive games. The first and only other player to accomplish this feat was Timmy Brown of the Philadelphia Eagles in December 1960.

Also, his one-yard run was his 19th career rushing touchdown, which established a new all-time record for rushing touchdown by a wide receiver. That record was previously held by Bobby Mitchell.
Since returning from injury in Week 10, the 49ers are 5-0 and Deebo Samuel has amassed 437 receiving yards and 67 rushing yards, for seven touchdowns.
“Since coming back from injury, I could see the level of play getting better and better, week in and week out,” Samuel said after the game.
