Ex-Raider Sean Smith To Spend One Year In Jail

It was announced Monday morning that former Oakland Raiders CB Sean Smith was to be released from the team.

Later this morning, it was revealed that Smith is getting one year in jail.

He plead guilty to assault with great bodily injury in an incident from last year, and is reportedly getting one year in jail and three years probation.

Smith signed a four-year deal with the Raiders in 2016 good for $40 million.

The Oakland Raiders have yet to comment on Smith.
