The Kings guard has been named Player of the Week for the second time this season
Sacramento Kings guard De’Aaron Fox has been announced as the Western Conference Player of the Week for his efforts during the week of March 21-28th.
Fox has been on an absolute tear, averaging 36.8 points (.640 FG%, .375 3pt%, .828 FT%), 3.5 rebounds, 5.5 assists and 2.0 steals per game over the span of four games–all wins for Sacramento.
It’s the second time this season that Fox has been named Player of the Week, with the first being for his efforts during the week of February 1-8th.
With Fox posting superstar numbers on a nightly basis, the Kings (21-25) have pulled themselves back into the postseason race after rattling off six wins over their last seven contests.
The last member of the Sacramento Kings to be named Western Conference Player of the Week twice in one season was DeMarcus Cousins (2015-16).
