With just 16 games remaining in the regular season, the San Francisco Giants will open up a four-game set against the owner of the worst record in the National League, the Colorado Rockies.

San Francisco (75-71) has turned things around after losing six straight games to open up September. The Giants have won five of their past six contests while trimming a 2.5-game deficit in the National League Wild Card standings to just one half-game.

Although the Giants continue to close in on a Wild Card spot, they will need to continue their winning ways against a Rockies (53-92) team that has lost 17 of its past 22 games.

During last week’s three-game sweep over Colorado at Oracle Park, San Francisco’s offense exploded for 24 runs while batting .349 as a team.

With just a handful of series remaining on the regular season schedule and two looming series against the NL West-leading Los Angeles Dodgers, San Francisco will need to take care of business against the last-place Rockies to jump back into the third Wild Card spot.

Here’s how the Giants and Rockies will line up their starting pitchers for this weekend’s action at Coors Field in Denver, Colorado.
