The Las Vegas Raiders close the 2023 NFL season at home against their division rivals, the Denver Broncos.
Despite what happens Sunday, the Raiders will improve upon their 2022 record, even if it’s not as much as the team or fans had originally hoped. Last year, the team finished with a 6-11 season. This year, they have a chance to end the season with a .500 record. And even though they don’t technically have anything to play for, interim coach Antonio Pierce says everyone is “all in” and they’re “playing to win the game.”
“[At] our normal team meeting… I asked the question, ‘Does anybody not want to play?’ And they had the opportunity to stand up and leave and then I ended the meeting and if they didn’t want to play, they could get up and leave again. Nobody left,” Pierce said Friday.

What’s the latest on Josh Jacobs?
Pierce said Friday Jacobs, who is dealing with a quad injury, will again be a game-time decision. The Raiders running back has missed the last three games.
“We’ve done it three weeks in a row. Hopefully, third time’s the charm. But he wants to play, though. We’ll see, but we have to be smart.”
