Both Sacramento & Golden State will be without key pieces on Monday night
Not only will the Sacramento Kings face the 24-6 Golden State Warriors on the second night of a back-to-back, they will do so without several key rotation pieces when they take the floor on Monday.
Richaun Holmes (eye) could return to action after a six-game absence, although it’s possible that clarity on the 28-year-old’s status does not come until coach Doug Christie’s pregame media session at 5:30pm PST.
While the Kings will be shorthanded in this Pacific Division showdown, Golden State isn’t exactly unscathed, either.
Breakout guard Jordan Poole and veteran wing Andrew Wiggins entered COVID-19 Health & Safety Protocols over the weekend, while star Klay Thompson and center James Wiseman are still in the process of working themselves back from leg injuries.
Sacramento and Golden State will face off tonight at 7:00pm PST at Chase Center in downtown San Francisco.
