The Murray twins will not be re-united in Sacramento, but they’ll both be in the same conference.
With the 23rd pick in the 2023 NBA Draft, the Portland Trail Blazers selected Kris Murray. The Blazers picked one spot ahead of the Sacramento Kings, where Kris was heavily rumored to go.

Kris Murray was the leader of a Hawkeyes team that finished the season with a 19-14 record and secured a spot in the NCAA Tournament, although Iowa suffered an 83-75 defeat to Auburn in the round of 64.
The 6’8 forward made a leap in his third college season, jumping from 9.7 points per game to 20.2 and 4.3 rebounds to 7.9 while seeing his minutes double, jumping to 34.9 per game after logging just 17.9 minutes as a sophomore.
Kris played in the shadow of Keegan during the first two seasons of his Iowa career, but once his brother made the jump to the NBA, Kris stepped up and drastically increased his NBA Draft stock in 2022-23.
