Two of the Las Vegas Raiders rookies will start training camp on injured lists.
Tyree Wilson, the seventh overall pick in this year’s draft, has been added to the non-football injury list. According to Vincent Bonsignore of the Las Vegas Review-Journal, the move was expected because of Wilson’s injury while at Texas Tech last year.
The second rookie added to an injury list was defensive tackle Byron Young. Selected in the third round, Young was added to the team’s Physically Unable to Perform [PUP] list. The team did not provide any information about Young’s designation.
Veterans report to Raiders training camp on Tuesday, July 25. The team’s first practice is scheduled for Wednesday, July 26.

Additional Raiders news
According to NFL insider Ian Rapoport, the team is bringing back free agent cornerback Marcus Peters for another visit and workout.
Peters met with team officials back in May.
The 30-year-old Oakland native spent the last three years with the Baltimore Ravens, however, he missed the entire 2021 season after tearing his ACL during practice prior to the start of the football year. He returned in Week 2 of the 2022 season.
In his career, Peters has recorded 336 tackles, two sacks, 32 interceptions and 12 forced fumbles.
The #Raiders will host FA CB Marcus Peters for a visit and workout on Monday, sources say. Las Vegas visited with Peters earlier this spring, now will take another close look before training camp.
