Before heading to Las Vegas, Kings fans will also get a chance to see Acuff Jr. in person in Sacramento during the upcoming California Classic at Golden 1 Center from July 4–6.

The early action in Sacramento will serve as the first live look at the rookie guard in a Kings uniform before the team travels to Vegas.

Acuff arrives in the NBA after a dominant freshman season at Arkansas, where he averaged 23.5 points and 6.4 assists per game while shooting 44 percent from three-point range.

His performance earned him SEC Player of the Year, SEC Rookie of the Year, and Consensus All-American honors, establishing him as one of the most polished offensive guards in the draft.

His path to Sacramento also carried a personal connection. Kings general manager Scott Perry has a longstanding relationship with Acuff’s family, having coached his father at Eastern Kentucky in the 1990s.

Sacramento ultimately selected Acuff with the 7th overall pick, banking on his scoring ability and playmaking to help lead the franchise’s future.

With both the California Classic and the star-studded Sacramento Kings Las Vegas Summer League schedule on deck, fans will get an extended first look at the Kings’ newest cornerstone ahead of his rookie season.
