The hits keep coming for Mike Brown.

First, the Sacramento Kings coach was ejected from the team’s 143-142 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Monday. After the game, Brown brought a laptop with him to the post-game podium and broke down a handful of plays that didn’t go Sacramento’s way.

On Tuesday, the NBA fined Brown $50,000 for “aggressively pursuing a game official during live play, and for publicly criticizing the officiating.”

Then on Wednesday, before the team’s loss to the Phoenix Suns, Mike Brown jokingly admitted the fine has impacted his family’s All-Star break plans.

“My partner Rochelle, she’s upset with me because I was gonna splurge and take them skiing,” Brown said. “Sacramento’s a great place. The city is unbelievable, it’s close to Tahoe… But we were gonna stay at the Ritz Carlton on the north side of Lake Tahoe and we were gonna splurge a little bit for All-Star break, go skiing, I was gonna take my grandson skiing. But I called her and told her we probably won’t be able to do it today unless the Ritz Carlton, which is a terrific place, gives me a discount.”

Hopefully Mike Brown can find another suitable hotel for the NBA All-Star break.
