UC Davis football seeks fourth-straight win vs. Northern Arizona

Following a blowout loss against Washington, UC Davis football has won three straight games — the most recent being a 34-27 victory over Cal Poly on Saturday.

For the second-straight week, No. 6 UC Davis football redshirt freshman Caden Pinnick put on a show, leading the Aggies to victory at Cal Poly and being named the Co-Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week, making it back-to-back weeks as player of the week.

It’s the third time this season that Pinnick has earned weekly honors, having been named the Stats Perform National Freshman Player of the Week back in week one. And he earned Big Sky Offensive Player of the Week honors last week after the Aggies knocked off Weber State.

Pinnick threw for a career-high 313 passing yards, going 21-for-26 with three passing touchdowns and no turnovers. He added a career-high 60 yards on the ground to finish with 373 yards of offense and four total touchdowns.

He was an impressive 81 percent with his passes, and over the past two games, Pinnick has now thrown for 601 yards, had five passing touchdowns, and rushed for two touchdowns while adding 108 yards on the ground.
