Two former UC Davis men’s soccer stars, goalkeeper Wallis Lapsley (Forward Madison FC) and defender Max Glasser (FC Naples), earned USL League One Team of the Week honors for their standout performances in Week 12 of the 2025 season.
Lapsley, the 2019 Big West Conference Goalkeeper of the Year, anchored the Aggies’ defense during one of the program’s most successful stretches.
In his final collegiate season, he backstopped UC Davis to its third straight Big West Tournament Championship appearance while finishing his career as the program’s all-time leader in wins (35), shutouts (21), and save percentage (.784).
His professional form mirrored that excellence this week: a five-save performance, including a -1.65 Goals Prevented mark helped secure a 1-1 draw for Forward Madison against Portland Hearts of Pine.
