Oakland Athletics announce 2024 spring training schedule

The Oakland Athletics have announced the dates and opponents for their 2024 spring training.

Spring training kicks off on Sunday, Feb. 25, against the Los Angeles Dodgers at Camelback Ranch in Glendale. The A’s first home game takes place the next day, Monday, Feb. 26, at Hohokam Stadium in Mesa against the Arizona Diamondbacks.

The Athletics play a total of 15 games at Hohokam Stadium, with matchups against the San Diego Padres, Chicago Cubs and Los Angeles Angels, amongst others.

If you want a taste of the Bay Bridge series without the hassle of driving across the actual Bay Bridge, Oakland Athletics 2024 spring training schedule includes five matchups with the Giants. Oakland faces off against San Francisco three times in Arizona before the two teams wrap up spring baseball back in the Golden State. The first exhibition game takes place on Monday, March 25 at the Coliseum and then spring ball concludes for the A’s on Tuesday, March 26 at Oracle Park.

The A’s open the 2024 season at the Coliseum on Thursday, March 28, with a four-game series against the Cleveland Guardians.

Tickets to spring training games will be available at a later date.
