Oakland Athletics sign former Pittsburgh Pirates pitcher Osvaldo Bido

The Oakland Athletics have signed right-handed pitcher Osvaldo Bido to a one-year contract.
Terms of the deal were not released when the team announced the move on Monday. Bido was not tendered by the Pirates on Friday, Nov. 17, paving the way for the A’s to step in.
Making his major league debut this past season, Bido started nine of his 16 appearances, going 2-5 with an ERA of 5.86. Also spending time with the Pirates Triple-A affiliate, the Indianapolis Indians, he posted a 3-4 record with a 4.16 ERA.
The A’s have signed RHP Osvaldo Bido to a one-year contract for the 2024 season.

The 28-year-old pitcher was signed by the Pirates out of the Dominican Republic at the age of 21.
