It appears the Las Vegas Raiders are finally doing something with Chandler Jones.
According to NFL Network insider Ian Rapoport, the team is placing Jones on the “non-football illness list and will be out indefinitely as he deals with a personal issue.” The team has not yet announced the move.
Jones has missed the Raiders’ first two games following multiple social media posts criticizing the team, head coach Josh McDaniels, and general manager Dave Ziegler.

On Wednesday, when asked about the roster spot, McDaniels told reporters he “can’t do anything about it at this point.”
“So, we’re just respecting that process and understand the situation, and that’s really all I can say about it,” McDaniels added.
Chandler Jones had his ups and downs in his first year with Las Vegas. After a slow start to the season, Jones was named the AFC’s Defensive Player of the Week in Week 13 when he recorded six tackles, three sacks and one pass defended against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Before he was shut down for the season with an elbow injury, the defensive end recorded 3 passes defended, 4.5 sacks, 38 combined tackles, three fumble recoveries, and one memorable touchdown.
