The Sacramento Kings have announced plans for when fans can purchase playoff tickets.

For the first time since 2006, the Beam Team is playoff bound. The drought ended on Wednesday, March 29, with Sacramento’s 120-80 win over the Portland Trail Blazers. Since then, the Kings have also clinched the Pacific Division and secured the third seed in the Western Conference.

With these accomplishments, the Kings have secured home-court advantage throughout the first round. The NBA’s playoff schedule will be released at a later time.

“No one deserves this celebration more than Kings fans, and I know the atmosphere in Sacramento is going to be electric,” Sacramento Kings Owner and Chairman Vivek Ranadivé said in a press release. “We have an opportunity to play playoff basketball in Golden 1 Center and show why our fans are the best in the world. I can’t wait to see the entire city come together to support this incredible team and be part of the excitement.”

Single-game tickets to home playoff games go on sale at noon Monday, April 10. Fans who have signed up for an exclusive presale will have the option to purchase tickets on Saturday, April 8.

The team is also inviting fans to Golden 1 for away games. Playoff watch parties are free, but tickets will be necessary for entry into the arena. Team officials will release more information on watch party tickets at a later time.

Before the playoffs start, fans can attend Kings Playoffs Playground, located Ali Youssefi Square near the intersection of K and 7th Streets.

“This free fan zone will provide guests the opportunity to test their basketball skills, create a one-of-a-kind commemorative action figure of themselves in Kings gear, take a photo with the famed 6th Man Statue (formerly located at ARCO Arena), capture a video of themselves lighting the beam and make a custom cheer card,” the team said in a press release. “Select Playoffs merchandise will also be available for purchase. A game ticket is not required for entry into the Playoffs Playground, which will be open from 12-8 p.m. on game days, both home and away, with additional dates added at the discretion of the team.”
